Welcome to Do This!
Here at Do This we use an online platform and digital outreach to provide peer modeling. Video Peer Modeling is supported by evidence-based research as a proven mechanism for building skills in children with autism. Video modeling can also benefit typically developing children and children with other diagnoses. Using video modeling allows children to see a task, activity or skill performed by someone they can potentially relate to. Teachers and parents can use the videos at the pace of each child's learning. Peer video modeling can teach emotional regulation, activities of daily living, communication skills, social interactions, and executive functioning skills.
